Abstract

Analysing the fractional tau-norm, the uniform convergence of the V-cycle multigrid FEM for the time-dependent fractional problem is strictly proved when tau -> 0. The numerical experiments are performed to verify the convergence with O(NlogN) complexity by fast Fourier transform method. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
