Abstract | We experimentally demonstrated orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode fiber amplifiers by the utilization of erbium -doped ring-core fiber. For the power amplification of OAM modes with topological charge broken vertical bar l broken vertical bar= 1, the maximum output power of up to 16.1 dBm is achieved. Furthermore, the signal gain is about 26.5 dB at the communication spectral window. |
