Abstract

The microfluidic circuit analogy has regained enormous interest from researchers because it provides an insightful perspective to manipulate the fluid behaviors in a microfluidic network.However, the traditional fabrication of microfluidic devices relies on soft lithography, in which the expertise of cleanroom procedures and intensive labor of preparation are usually required.3D printing is considered a promising alternative to soft lithography to bridge the gap between lab and real-world commercial applications. To address the mentioned issues, this dissertation thus presents the combination of circuit analogy and 3D printing to create the microfluidic system in a modular paradigm, thereby resolving the relevant challenges in system design, portability, and understanding of the system response with various application demonstrations

微流控电路类比得到了研究者的广泛关注,因为其提供了在复杂微流控流路中控制流体行为的深刻视角。然而传统基于软光刻的加工方式,因为固有的高成本与长时间流程,限制了相关器件的制备与推广。3D打印被认为是富有前景的一种加工方式,可以连接实验室研究与真实商业应用。本论文呈现了3D打印与电路类比模型的结合,实现了制备模块化的微流控系统,解决了一系列的系统设计,便携性,数值模型等问题,并且呈现了多种应用场景。
