Abstract
Anapparatus with precise controllability and large stiffness was designed to investigate the mechanical behavior of rock grain interface.The fracture toughness and tensile strength of the rock GI are scattered and follow an exponential probability distribution function.The validity of the obtained grain interface strength parameter was verified by a numerical model.
